Performance enhancement of a high-speed railway supply system with multi module converter: a laboratory prototype model for Indian railways

چکیده

The present Indian traction supply system’s complications (neutral sections of the catenary line and issues power quality) restrict growth railway transportation, particularly high-speed rail networks that are fast growing globally. neutral (NS) results in loss speed, momentum mechanical failures all threatening stable operation trains systems. In meantime, with quality such as negative sequence currents (NSC), reactive harmonics may create problems on three phase grid side cannot be overlooked. To address these two concurrently, a new system is designed this paper. proposal will also analyses theory operation, build mathematical model develop control for back to converters. Small scale prototype made validation simulation results. shows it can fulfil practical requirements. experimental overall practically more appropriate high speed railway.
